The past few weeks have been quite eventful over in the backend world... We've made both big changes and small ones and I'd like to share them with you!

Foraging

We have rolled out the foraging plugin! You can now explore 3 different locations, each having their own loot set. You can explore 2 times every day!

You can access foraging via Activity > Foraging in the nav bar.

QoL changes

Character Warnings

This one is for the gore and eyestrain lovers. We now have character warnings you can add by going into your Sapsidian's profile and clicking "edit profile" in the sidebar. This will put a small message on the masterlist describing the specifics.

(Example of how it looks like on the masterlist and your profile!)

Staff will also be able to add warnings to your characters, so feel free to ask us to put a warning in the comments of your character submission! Please do not change warnings that have been put on the character by staff.

By default, everyone sees the warnings and censored icons, but if you'd like you can change that in your user settings!

Toyhouse Linking on Profiles

This one was from a while ago,  but you can add a link to your characters Toyhouse profile on the character "edit profile" screen.

Mini Clock

You've probably noticed this one, we now have a clock above your username! It operates in the website's timezone (UTC - 6), so you can easily check when daily resets occur for foraging.

TinyMCE Code Editor

For people more versed in HTML coding, we changed the source code editor into TinyMCE. You can access this via clicking the brackets <> on the text editor.

Username Changes

You can now change your username with a cooldown of 30 days. You can do so in user settings.

Benefits to look forward to as a GA:

• Keep all profits from designs. (species currency, cash, art, etc)
• Receive free MYOs at the end of your term.
• No designing minimal or limit. Design as many or as few adopts as you wish!
• Use cool traits in designs before they become available to the public.
• Option to keep any one design you make if you get connected to them.

New month, new newsletter, new artists!!!

This is a fairly short newsletter, but we got a lot of information to go over. Nothing too crazy, but still lots of fun!
As per usual with these letters, we are starting with a new batch of Featured Saps, but remember, since the last newletter was late, you may still get bonuses for art of them as well until the 5th!

July's prompt - Greetings!

This month we're doing something a little different and requiring 2 Sapsidians be drawn instead of just 1, like usual. With so many Saps it's time to see them all get to know each other. (Though I've already seen many group pictures from the community!) Because of this the reward is not only doubled, but you will also get a random upgrade/magicial item! Maybe you'll get those Emerald Teeth or a silly Odd Spring? Might as well find out, right?

There's also a new NPC account! These Saps are free to use for any prompt! The world is yours! (Also, Lemonade is my favorite, I love her so much-)

New permanent artists!

Some of you might have noticed that we didn't host GA apps, well that's because we were picking out Permanent Artists (PAs) for this month! Since this is our first set of PAs, we wanted to give them a month to themselves to start off with! You've all seemed to really like their designs they have done as Guest Artists (GAs), so I hope you're ready to see more from them!

Staff apps

Lately, we'll be opening up staff applications along side our GAs apps for next month. These will open up sometime around the 10th~15th and last a week. We'll be looking for help with:

- Event planning and running
- Promotion
- Design approvals
- Discord moderation

If you're interested in any of those things, stay tuned! When apps open, we'll be posting here, the TH world, and the discord.

Hello! Very short and sweet update!

The event ends in roughly 10 days, if you have not received your starter loot bag, please check if you have filled out the prompt on site to get it. I've noticed people have commented on the Toyhou.se thread, but haven't done the second part of filling out the prompt so we can give you your bag. It's how we avoid missing people and avoid giving out double rewards unfairly.

Some more good news! There's currently 45 Sapsidians created! So many in a short period of time! We're been enjoying all the fun designs and vibrant colors here so far! There's going to be more too, as Guest Artists apps have opened!

Hello, and welcome to the first Sapsidians of the Month post! Since there are only 2 weeks left for this month, we have only choosen two Saps, though moving forward, we'll be choosing 4!

Want your Sap to be chosen? Set your Sap to Gift Art Yes to have them in as an option!
